CONSENT TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
By cliking SEND button, after filling in all the required information on the application form, you agree to the processing of personal data by Ignacy Łukasiewicz Rzeszów University of Technology, in order to organize and conduct the Conference „Methods of Nonlinear Analysis in Differential and Integral Equations” (called „the Event”), organized by Department of Nonlinear Analysis of Rzeszów University of Technology and publishing your personal details on the internet websites of Rzeszów University of Technology in connection with participating in the Event. The lack of consent to the processing of personal data (expressed by refusing to click on SEND button) results in inability to participate in the Event. In this case, it is required to leave the application form website – all entered data will be lost without the possibility to retrieve it.
INFORMATION CLAUSE
In accordance with Article 13, act 1 and 2 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (Official Journal of the EU, L 119, 2016, p.1) hereinafter referred to as GDPR, the organizer of the Event informs as follows:
- The Administrator of the participant’s personal data is Ignacy Łukasiewicz Rzeszów University of Technology, with legal address 12 Powstańców Warszawy Av., 35-959 Rzeszów, telephone number: +48 17 865 11 00, e-mail address: kancelaria@prz.edu.pl.
- The Administrator assigned the Inspector of the Data Protection, supervising accuracy of processing personal data; the Inspector is available on +48 17 865 1775, the e-mail address: iod@prz.edu.pl, or under the Aministrator’s legal address; the Inspector can be contacted in any matter of data processing.
- Personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
a) Event organization – pursuant to Article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR – including registration of participation, event support, communication with participants (including via the Internet), documentation and reporting of the event, distribution of post-conference materials, correspondence handling, and issuance of certificates of participation. This is in connection with the university’s statutory tasks and mission in education, scientific activity, promotion of civic attitudes, participation in social development, and building an innovation-based economy.
b) Publication and editorial purposes – for participants submitting a scientific article or poster. In the case of receiving positive scientific reviews, personal data may also be processed for editorial purposes related to the publication of the article or poster – pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
c) Granting of journalistic accreditation – pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR, when processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation incumbent on the controller, in connection with the Press Law.
d) Contact with individuals reaching out to the organizers – pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – processing is carried out for purposes arising from legitimate interests, namely responding to questions and requests. - Providing personal data is voluntary, however it is necessary in order to implement intended purposes. The refusal to provide personal data will result in inability to participate in the Event.
- The participant’s personal data will not be available to any external bodies, with the exception of cases provided for in legal regulations, neither it will not be passed on to a receiver in the third country or an international organization.
- The participant's personal data will be processed until the purpose has been fulfilled, specifically:
- until the completion and settlement of all activities related to the organization of the event (including the publication of the monograph), or
- until the withdrawal of the consent that serves as the basis for processing, or the submission of an objection to data processing, and thereafter for the period and to the extent required by law, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of related legal claims, and subsequently for the period required by legal regulations for fulfilling archiving obligations — whichever of these periods is longer. After these periods, the data will be irreversibly anonymized.
- The Administrator can consign the personal data processing of the participant to the external duty holders, working on commision of the Administrator, e.g. to the body providing IT services in the field of the development, servicing and damage control in information systems.
- The participant has the right to the access to the content of their personal data, correcting, deleting or limitng of processing it and the right to raise an objection to the processing, provided that legal regulations allow it.
- The participant has the right to the approval revocation at any time. The revocation does not affect the congruity with the right of the processing, which was accomplished on the basis of the agreement, before it’s revocation (subject to the resolution of the regulations of law). The revocation of the approval can be done by sending the requirement to the Administrator’s address or via e-mail: ana2025@prz.edu.pl .
- The participant has the right to bring a complaint to the regulatory organ (i.e. to the Chairman of the Personal Data Protection Office), when they assume that the personal data processing concerning them violates GDPR regulations.
- The participant’s personal data will never undergo automated processes of making decisions (within this profiling).
